Lee Filters Top 5 Winning Image - November 2021

Here is one of my top 5 favourite seascape pictures from 2021 taken on the west coast of Lancashire this year. Plan 'B' paid off to get the high tide washing over the promenade steps at Blackpool along with the big wheel lit up in all its glory , 10 minutes later they pulled the plug and the scene was in darkness!

This is an exciting image! Great use of a 10 stop to set a long exposure, smooth out the water, and allow those clouds to move overhead. It pulls me right in! The steps in foreground are beautiful to look at with their shine and reflection. I wonder how it would loo if the image were taken lower to the ground to get more reflection? Fantastic long exposure - MATT SHANNON
